| Metro Gnome Music & Cycle To Go is proud to offer the Bike Box To Go. We were not happy with the other hard transport cases available on the market, so we decided to design our own! Weighing in at 20lbs, this strong lightweight case is perfect for transporting your Brompton. It is 62 linear inches so it can be taken on an airplane for the price of a regular suitcase, and has special foam inserts to protect your bike. The interior dimensions without the foam inserts are 23 1/2 inches wide, 11 7/8 inches deep, and 24 1/8 inches tall. It is made of strong lightweight ABS Plastic with aluminum edges and latches. It has integrated wheels on one of the bottom edges for pulling the case. The right hand latch features a loop for a padlock (not included). The foam inserts are on the top and bottom and sandwich the bike in the case. There are cutouts on the bottom foam insert to allow for the wheels on a Brompton rear rack and to accommodate extended seat posts. Two built in wheels allow for easy transport. There is even room for a helmet or other gear. | |
